ChampaignCountyBikes.org is a grass roots group of citizens working together to make Champaign County the most bicyclist friendly county in the Midwest.

PrairieCycleClub.org organizes weekly and special event rides for bicyclists of all abilities.
TheBikeProject.org of Urbana-Champaign is a co-op that offers a space, tools, and community to repair bikes, share knowledge, hold classes, and advocate for bikes in Urbana-Champaign. Recycled bikes can be purchased at low cost from the Co-op.
League of Illinois Bicyclists (BikeLIB.org): LIB's objectives include (a) maintaining and increasing access to public facilities to enhance the use of bicycles for transportation and recreation, (b) educating bicyclists and motorists about their mutual rights and responsibilities, and (c) educating cyclists on safe cycling practices (adapted from website).
Illini Cycling (www.IlliniCycling.com): The University of Illinois' bicycle racing team is made up of UIUC undergraduate and graduate students who compete in mountain (fall) and road (spring) racing.
